Sublimations
Extra effects for your gear, if its sockets fit.
A sublimation is an additional effect added to an item by enchanting it. Standard ones ask for a combination of sockets; epics and relics, an item of their rarity.
Which sockets a sublimation asks for
Every standard sublimation asks for a combination of three sockets. It has to sit on the item's first three sockets or its last three, with the colours in the same order: red, blue, blue is not the same as blue, blue, red.
A white socket counts as any colour. On this item, the first three and the last three are the two places one can fit.

Each scroll adds levels by its rarity: Rare adds 1, Mythical adds 2 and Legendary adds 3. They stack up to each sublimation's maximum level, and since an item carries only one, the levels add up across several items: anything past the maximum is wasted.
Adding and removing
Double-click the scroll in your inventory, then click the item. Each item takes a single sublimation. It can be removed or swapped at the Enchantment Workshop, but the one that comes off is lost for good.
Epics and relics
They use no sockets: they can only go on items of epic or relic rarity, and ask for nothing else.
Almost all of them charge you something, and each one's text says so. Read it all the way through before deciding.
